Artist Statement
This mixed media piece displays the Complexions slow, but deadly take over Reality. The discharges strive to construct how Complexion has eaten away the dwellings of Reality. Left in its wake are smoke and debris scattered across the landscape for miles. However, I want to make my piece feel like the rare disease of decay attacking Realty could happen in real life. The living people of Reality lay in the wake of destruction and pray that Complexion will spare them from the tortures of emotion. However, their cries for mercy have been ignored by Complexion and have forced them to watch the unbearable feeling of emotion creep inside their bodies. The people of Reality look upward with tears falling down their faces to see the Apocalyptic Complexion.
