MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES 鈥 Last year, over 500 area children attended Montana State University Billing鈥檚 annual Halloween Hall-Wide festivities and this season鈥檚 fun is going to be bigger and better than ever before.
The event, sponsored by the 麻花影视 Office for Community Involvement and Housing and Residence Life provides a fun and safe place for families in the community to celebrate Halloween. The 麻花影视 Student United Way will also be helping with the event.
In addition to inviting Billings鈥 area youngsters in elementary and middle schools to participate in Halloween Hall-Wide, students in Laurel and Lockwood are also being encouraged to attend.
The Student Union Building will feature several carnival games like mini-golf, bowling, a cupcake walk and ring toss, free face painting and more.
Kids can trick-or-treat the residence halls in Petro Hall, with plenty of candy donated from 11 different community sponsors.
鈥淲hat鈥檚 really neat about this event is that it is run by student and staff volunteers who come together to give back to the community and we couldn鈥檛 do it without the support of sponsors,鈥 said Shayla Fox, volunteer engagement coordinator with the Office for Community Involvement. 鈥淚t provides a unique, interactive volunteer opportunity that students really enjoy.鈥
One such student is Lacey Mogan, 22, and a human services major.

The kiddos will also have a chance to enjoy the famous Oscar-Mayer WIENERMOBILE, which will be set up in front of the Student Union Building for Hall-Wide.
Fox said Oscar-Mayer will be passing out Wienier Whistles and taking pictures.
鈥淭his came as a surprise and will be a really fun addition to our event,鈥 Fox said.
Non-perishable food donations to the Yellowjacket Emergency Pantry are welcomed, but not required, for admission.
